Nord Hus Company -
Nord Hus is a small company that was founded over 40 years ago primarily to promote the sales of pulks designed for winter expeditions and recreation.
The pulks were originally designed by the Erling Hegg family, who were involved in expedition work and in directing High Adventure and Cold Weather Survival programs.
Over the years, the "Hegg Sleds" became recognized for their excellent performance and durability and have been used extensively throughout the world - including Arctic and Antarctic expeditions.
The Nord Hus Company strives to maintain a high standard of workmanship in their sleds that will lend to the enjoyment and satisfaction of their customers.
Whether we are constructing an eight foot expedition model for crashing over arctic pressure ridges or a four foot recreation sled for pulling a child through a park or forest preserve, we devote the same careful craftsmanship to our product.
