Pulling System
The pulling system is designed for strength and good forward and lateral control. It consists of a stainless steel yoke attached to the hull, fiberglass wands attached to the yoke with removable pins and a unique buckle and padded belt pulling system. This system was designed for simplicity, strength and control, and has proven itself on countless expeditions.

Cargo Cover
Cargo cover material is water-and-abrasion-resistant pack cloth designed to protect cargo yet make packing easy. The velcro Closure keeps out snow, and the unique system of rings, hooks and elastic shock cords was first designed by Nord Hus many years ago. Most pulk manufacturers, including companies in Scandinavia, now use this same system.

Construction
The boat shaped sled body is constructed of hand-laid fiberglass bonded with hand brushed polyester resins. This procedure has enabled us to build an incredibly strong and lighter sled body. Shallow runners are molded into the sled to provide strength and stability. To further provide strength and protection to the hull, wear surfaces of high density and extremely tough polyethylene (UHMW) strips are fastened over the runners. When the pulling system is attached to the sled body, it is also attached to the polypropylene wear surfaces, making the system practically indestructible.
